Heritage | MileOne Autogroup Lease End Guide

New car deals come in all shapes and sizes. The dealerships of Heritage | MileOne Autogroup know better than most, since we’re used to offering great lease incentives on new cars. Since so many of you have leased from us, we thought this would be as good a time as any to remind our Baltimore, Towson, and Owings Mills customers what to do when that lease is drawing to a close.

Three months before your lease ends, it helps to consider what you’ll drive next. You may choose to buy out the lease, to lease another car, or even take advantage of used car deals. This is also when you’ll usually hear from your dealership’s financial services department.

Sixty days from lease end, you should have your vehicle inspected for wear and tear. Nobody wants to be shocked by excess wear and tear charges! It’s also a good time to eyeball the odometer and see if you’re close to your mileage allotment.

The last month of your lease is time to make repairs, set a return date, and meet any financial obligations. It’s also time to visit our dealerships to turn in your existing vehicle and your keys, and choose the vehicle you’ll drive next.

There are a few other key reminders.

  • Each manufacturer represented in our auto group has its own lease program, so contact them for full information and assistance.
  • Take advantage of available loyalty programs and lease-end incentives.
  • Remember the great feeling you had when you first leased from us? We want to keep that feeling going, so visit your car dealer near Baltimore, and remember we’re more than an auto group — we’re a family, and you’re always welcome!
